Matt is founding partner at Venture Science. He started Venture Science in 2012 out of his one-bedroom apartment in Palo Alto. His idea behind a new generation venture capital firm still stands today as the core tenet of the firm: make decisions based on math, avoid biases, and therefore escape human fallibility.

Matt is outspoken about our approach and writes about various dimensions of the principles we use at Venture Science. (Click here for a compilation of his articles on TechCrunch.)

Matt is Turkish-American and studied at Tarsus American College and Ankara Science Lycée where he received two national science scholar awards in Physics.
